Bolt Insight has been named a finalist for the ASC/MRS Award for Best Technology Innovation, one of the most respected recognitions in the research industry!
First presented in 2003 and organised by the ASC in association with the MRS, the award recognises outstanding and innovative applications of software or technology that have directly contributed to a demonstrable improvement in the effectiveness of market, opinion or social research.
The nomination adds to a strong year of industry recognition for Bolt Insight. Earlier in 2026, the company was shortlisted for two categories at the MRS Operations Awards, Best Data Solution and Innovation and Enterprise, building on its win for Best Online Qual at last year’s ceremony.
What the nomination reflects
For us, this nomination reflects the continued development of Bolt Intelligence, our always-on consumer intelligence platform.
And in particular, the recent updates to our proprietary research brain powering our platform, IQ, which is now available as a conversational AI layer that allows researchers to talk directly to their data, generate tailored reports and run meta-analysis across multiple studies in one place.
Since launching BoltChatAI in 2022 as the world’s first AI-moderated qualitative research platform at scale, we have consistently pushed the boundaries of what research technology can do.
The evolution of that platform into Bolt Intelligence, combining qualitative research, quantitative research, and UX testing in one unified system has been a significant step forward in how global brands access and act on consumer insight.
A year of recognition
Being shortlisted for two MRS Operations Award categories earlier this year was a proud moment for the team. Best Data Solution and Innovation and Enterprise both speak to different aspects of what Bolt Intelligence does and the commercial value it delivers for our clients.
Winning Best Online Qual at the 2025 MRS Operations Awards was a milestone for us. Being back in the room as a finalist across multiple categories in 2026 reflects how much our platform has continued to grow and develop since then.
What’s next?
We work with 11 of the world’s top 15 FMCG companies and have conducted over 15 million consumer conversations across 120 countries. We continue to develop Bolt Intelligence at pace, with IQ and Concept Creator among the most recent upgrades to the platform.
Being recognised by the industry through nominations like these is something the whole team takes genuine pride in. It is a reflection of the work we do every day to build research technology that is genuinely useful for the brands and insight teams that depend on it.
The winner will be announced at the MRS Awards Event on Monday 7th December. Fingers crossed!
